Liquid hit 0% on Midnight Falls, and the boss kept fighting
During the World of Warcraft Race to World First, Liquid pushed Midnight Falls to zero percent before the encounter kept going, leaving teams and viewers stunned.

The World of Warcraft Race to World First for Midnight took a sharp turn on April 5, 2026, when Liquid pushed the final boss, Midnight Falls, to 0% and the fight did not end.
Instead of the usual kill screen, the encounter carried on with what looked like a hidden or secret phase. That kind of twist is rare even by RWF standards, and it immediately changed the tone of the race from a straight boss push into a live mystery for everyone watching.
The reaction was instant across raid comms and social posts. Method posted, “SECRET PHASE? THERE’S NO WAY,” while Echo wrote, “WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED.”
The moment also left the race in an awkward place for the top guilds. Liquid had already reached the point most teams would expect to end the encounter, but the extra phase kept the boss alive and forced everyone to rethink what the full fight actually involved.
We’ve seen secret phases on bosses previously, but not like this one. For a fight this long, everyone was almost certain that the boss is about to get killed. Sadly, something else happened. Apparently at the end, or what everyone was thinknig to be an end, the boss started casting “Reintegration”, a cast that filled his HP and then stunned the remaining living players in the raid. Check the clip below:
The bigger question now is simple enough. How much more is hiding behind that final health bar, and how long will it take before a guild works out the rest of the fight? For now, the race has moved from a finish-line sprint into a puzzle, and that usually means the next pull matters even more.
