Insomniac is holding Marvel’s Wolverine pre-orders until it shows more gameplay
The studio told fans on X it will share more during Spring 2026 and wrote, "We want to show you more of the game first."

Insomniac Games said it would wait to open pre-orders for Marvel’s Wolverine until players have seen additional gameplay footage. The studio confirmed the game’s release window as September 2026 and told fans it plans to share more during Spring 2026.
The comment came in a reply on X to a fan question about upcoming coverage. In the thread Insomniac answered “During Spring 2026, yes,” about whether more information was coming, and added, “We want to show you more of the game first.”

Spring runs through Sunday, June 21, 2026. PlayStation has historically scheduled State of Play broadcasts in April or May, so a fresh gameplay segment could appear in that window. Insomniac’s message suggests pre-orders will arrive after the studio shares those additional looks at the game.
Insomniac did not give a precise date for when pre-orders will open or describe what form the next gameplay reveal will take. For now the studio is asking players to wait until more of the game is visible before offering pre-order options.
