Embark deploys hotfix to stop ARC Raiders ammo duplication

Embark Studios has deployed a hotfix on February 11, 2026 to address a recent exploit that let some players duplicate unlimited ammunition and other items in ARC Raiders. The patch also corrects issues where Headwinds quests disappeared from players’ logs after the previous update.

The developer linked the update in a social post and included the following statement and list of fixes. The post is available on the game’s official X account.

We’ve just deployed a new hotfix to address additional reported issues:

    • Fixed an inventory slot mechanic duplication glitch
    • Fixed an infinite ammo weapon glitch
    • Fixed an issue where some quests were missing from the Headwinds update
  • Fixed an issue where partially incomplete quests appeared after yesterday’s update

The team is dedicated to investigating and squashing exploits and we’ll keep you in the loop, thank you for your continued diligent reporting. No need to download, please restart your game!

Players and streamers had rapidly amplified the exploit in recent hours. Content creators including TheBurntPeanut broadcast matches where duplicated ammunition and duplicated grenades were used repeatedly, creating matches that ran outside the usual balance.

Embark’s hotfix addresses both the infinite-ammo weapon bug and an inventory slot duplication trick that allowed endless items to be generated. The update also remedies quest visibility problems introduced by the Headwinds update. For background on Headwinds and the issues players reported after that update, see reporting on the Headwinds update problems here. The developer asks that players restart the game to receive the fixes.
