Apex Legends – Update 27.0.2 fixes World’s Edge lighting, restores ziplines and stops pack crashes
Respawn Entertainment has rolled out Apex Legends update 27.0.2 on Steam, a focused hotfix that patches several map and UI issues while addressing a server crash tied to pack openings and match entry. The update targets a handful of gameplay annoyances rather than sweeping balance changes. On World’s Edge players should notice corrected lighting and the removal of a crouch exploit that let some window bars be bypassed, and Broken Moon sees several missing ziplines restored, changes that should smooth rotations and close off quirky movement shortcuts.
Audio and UI adjustments land too: map icons for the Rampart Package and Mythic Bin have been adjusted so they read better during the Supersonic Event, which should make those points of interest easier to locate on the map during busy matches. On the stability front, the patch fixes server crashes that could occur when opening packs and entering matches, and it corrects a Superglide bug so players can use Mantle Boost over obstacles while crouched. Those two fixes remove some of the more disruptive session-ending problems players have hit in recent weeks.
