Faker said he still thinks about a pair of Chinese stars when asked who pushed him hardest at League of Legends Worlds. The T1 mid laner pointed to Uzi and Knight as the rivals that stood out over his long international career.
“I’ve met so many great players at Worlds throughout my career. I would consider maybe Uzi and Knight from the LPL because I’ve faced them many, many times,” Faker told Mais Esports in a recent interview.
Uzi remains a legend despite stepping away from full competition for health reasons. His clutch performances and domestic dominance helped shift the balance between regions, and his run to MSI 2018 with RNG is still remembered as one of the tournament’s defining moments.
Knight earned his reputation by matching top mid-lane talent and by winning MSI 2023. He is once again among those challenging for the international crown at this year’s events. Fans tracking the tournament can find schedule and viewing details in the LoL Worlds 2025 guide.
