Rockstar Games has all but confirmed that GTA RP features will arrive in GTA 6 Online, after the popular roleplay server nopixel announced a partnership with the studio on September 23, 2025. The move suggests a closer relationship between Rockstar and PC RP communities ahead of the release of GTA 6, scheduled for May 26, 2026.
On September 23, nopixel posted that “nopixel V is the next evolution of the GTAV Roleplay experience, created in collaboration with Rockstar Games,” adding that the project is “coming soon to the Rockstar Games Launcher and other PC platforms.” The server said invites are already being sent out and that access will be limited and invitation-only. Their roster page lists the creators who will participate, and it confirms the invitation policy at nopixel.net.
Rockstar retweeted the announcement and then posted on X, “We’re excited to support the nopixel team as they create the future of GTA RP,” showing the studio is backing the collaboration. The wording did not restrict the plan to the current GTA V, suggesting a roleplay presence that reaches into GTA 6 Online.
The studio has been more welcoming to RP than in past years. It previously offered support to the developers behind FiveM. That history makes this collaboration less surprising, though it still marks a big move for how roleplay might be supported natively on PC platforms.
Details remain limited. So far, nopixel V is promised as a creator-driven experience with a select roster, and Rockstar has not shared specifics about how RP systems will be integrated into GTA 6 Online. Expect more info when Rockstar releases additional details about the single-player experience and the online component.
