Pokemon GO’s event lineup for September 22 to September 28 brings the Completely Normal event with Dudunsparce’s debut, a Mega Camerupt Raid Day on Sunday, and Max Monday featuring Dynamax Chansey. Weekly staples like Spotlight Hour, Raid Hour, Dynamax and Mega raids, and GO Battle League action continue alongside season bonuses from Tales of Transformation.
As per the details revealed from our friends at Pokemon GO Hub, here’s what’s going to happen:
- Raid boss rotation (September 23): Mega Kangaskhan, Mega Lopunny and Dialga return to raids.
- Max Monday (September 22): Dynamax Chansey featured in Max Battles from 6 PM to 7 PM local time.
- Spotlight Hour (September 23): Hoothoot, 2x catch Candy from 6 PM to 7 PM local time.
- Raid Hour (September 24): Origin Forme Dialga in Five-Star Raids from 6 PM to 7 PM local time.
- XP Celebration runs through October 14, with boosted XP for Nice, Great and Excellent throws and exclusive Timed Research.
- Completely Normal (September 23-27): Dudunsparce debuts, Dunsparce shiny boost, and Ditto disguise pool changes.
- Mega Camerupt Raid Day (September 28): Mega Camerupt debuts, can be shiny, plus bonus free Raid Passes and an increased Remote Raid Pass limit for the event.
Weekly events and schedule
Max Monday – Dynamax Chansey appears in Max Battles on Monday, September 22 from 6 PM to 7 PM local time and remains available in Max Battles through September 28. Spotlight Hour on Tuesday, September 23 features Hoothoot with 2x catch Candy from 6 PM to 7 PM local time. Raid Hour on Wednesday, September 24 highlights Origin Forme Dialga in Five-Star Raids from 6 PM to 7 PM local time.
XP Celebration
The XP Celebration runs through October 14 and is a prime chance to stockpile experience ahead of level cap changes. Timed Research and boosted XP for accuracy on throws are included.
Completely Normal event
The Completely Normal event runs from September 23 to September 27. Dudunsparce, the evolution of Dunsparce, debuts, and Dunsparce has an increased shiny rate. Ditto’s disguise pool is updated for the event, so capture opportunities change week to week.
Mega Camerupt Raid Day
Mega Camerupt debuts in a Raid Day on Sunday, September 28. The event includes an increased chance to encounter shiny Camerupt, up to five additional free Raid Passes from Gym Photo Disc spins, and a temporary increase to the Remote Raid Pass limit.
Raids
Five-Star Raids will feature Dialga from September 23 through October 7. Mega Kangaskhan and Mega Lopunny are present in Mega Raids through September 23. Shadow Raid activity includes one-star and three-star Shadow Raids daily and five-star Shadow Raids on weekends, with Shadow Regigigas appearing in five-star Shadow Raids during Tales of Transformation.
GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe
The September GO Pass runs from Tuesday, September 2 at 10:00 AM to Tuesday, October 7 at 10:00 AM local time. Rewards include a Cobalion encounter with a Tales of Transformation background, XP and Stardust bonuses, and the Timed Incubator debut for GO Pass Deluxe holders.
GO Battle League Season 24
Season 24 launched on September 2 at 1:00 PM PDT. At launch, end-of-season rewards from the prior season appear on the Battle screen, and ranks reset. Active cups this week include Master League: Mega Edition and Willpower Cup – Great League Edition for Sept 16-23. Great League and Fantasy Cup appear Sept 30 to Oct 7. Some weeks include 4x Stardust win rewards.
Season of Tales of Transformation
Tales of Transformation runs from September 2 to December 2. Season bonuses include extra Candy when trading, guaranteed Candy XL or Rare Candy XL for qualifying activities, and increased XP and Stardust for certain streaks. Sundays during the season offer trade bonuses, including one additional Special Trade and a 10% reduction in Stardust costs for trades.
September Egg hatches
Featured eggs for September include 2 km hatches such as Bulbasaur and Treecko, 5 km hatches like Alolan Grimer and Pichu, and 10 km hatches including Mawile and Beldum. More species may appear in each egg group.
