Dune: Awakening is running a Public Test Client update titled Version 1.2.10.0, with a small set of early changes players can try. The patch adds a building “Replace” mode, instanced loot in PvP zones, new Deep Desert loot structure, and several vehicle and rendering improvements for testing.
The highlights list showcases practical quality-of-life adjustments focused on base building and vehicle handling. The construction tool now has a Replace mode to swap building pieces with compatible alternatives, which should speed up base upgrades. Loot in PvP areas is now instanced like PvE, and the Deep Desert uses a different schematic rotation system. Vehicle tools have gained recovery options and a respawn point selection, and vehicle visibility has been increased to 2km for long-range spotting.
Players on the Public Test Client are asked to try these changes and report any problems they find. You can find the full patch notes list on the developer news page. Discussion is suggested on the Steam Discussion Board and the game’s Discord for feedback and issue reports.
