Falcons completed a clean 2-0 sweep over paiN to reach the semi-finals of FISSURE Playground 2, continuing their hot run on 19th September 2025. The match, played in Counter-Strike 2, saw Falcons take Inferno 13-4 and close on Ancient 13-6, setting up a semifinals meeting with FURIA.
Falcons controlled the series from the pistol rounds onward, making key plays to negate PaiN’s economy and map choices. “We definitely knew teams were going to try to exploit our Inferno,” NiKo said to HLTV.org in a post-match interview. He explained the team switched positions to reduce reliance on read plays and let players focus on shooting, and the change paid off in both maps.
The Bosnian star kept pressure in the early rounds while m0NESY became a decisive opener once he secured the AWP, and kyousuke looked exceptionally comfortable on Inferno in his new role. Falcons won Inferno 13-4 after recovering from a lost pistol thanks to a force-buy where NiKo hit a three-down with a Five-SeveN. On Ancient, a strong mid control and isolated multi-kills closed the map 13-6, leaving paiN unable to string rounds together.
The win sends Falcons into a semi-final against FURIA, with the matchup scheduled for the next day at the event. The game was part of FISSURE Playground 2 in Belgrade Arena and is listed on the event match page. Team and player stats reflected the Falcons’ dominance across both maps, with NiKo posting standout numbers and kyxsan contributing consistent pressure.
