The Lucky Pokemon system just got improved, as according to Niantic and their recent announcement Professor Willow comes around the block with two new findings. The rules are quite simple, and all you need to do is just follow them carefully in order to achieve the desired result.
This time, the discovery is related to the nature of Lucky Pokemon in which any Lucky Pokemon trades come beneficial to both the Trainers. This simply means that traded Pokemon that become Lucky will be a lot more powerful. It is considered to have a beneficial aspect to both the trainers, as some of them may just get lucky.
Looking for more Lucky Pokémon? Luck is on your side, Trainers! Starting now, if either Trainer has received fewer than 10 Lucky Pokémon, trading a Pokémon caught in July or August 2016 will guarantee a Lucky Pokémon: https://t.co/saFG92dYX7 pic.twitter.com/jHqR0uqoKn

Lucky Pokemon may be the best option to get a high gen IV Pokemon in Pokemon GO. Favorites, that’s what everyone wants to hear about, but however, the word Lucky pinpoints that not everyone would be able to get it.
As Niantic announced on their official Pokemon GO website, a trader who has a Pokemon in its Trainers Storage from July 2016 to August 2016 it is most likely, or close to guaranteed to become a Lucky Pokemon. Below you can see a correct summarize on Professor Willow’s unearthed discoveries:
- The nature of Lucky Pokémon remains the same: the more time a Pokémon spends in a Trainer’s Pokémon storage, the higher its chance of becoming a Lucky Pokémon when traded.
- Starting now, if you trade a Pokémon that has spent time in a Trainer’s Pokémon storage from July 2016 to August 2016, it is guaranteed to become a Lucky Pokémon!
- If you and your friend have received 10 or more Lucky Pokémon, the guarantee won’t be in effect, so keep that in mind! Now is the perfect time to bring old friends back to Pokémon GO and work together to complete your Kanto Pokédex!
However, there’s a boundary to all of this. Simply said, if you or your friend has managed to get 10 or more than 10 Lucky Pokemon, then the Guarantee effect won’t be in power. This feature is also expected to bond many friends back together, as it will allow them to gather (possibly) their most desired Pokemon GO collection.
Now that trading has become available to those who are underage, this is supposed to be the best feature released by Niantic.
