Gray Zone Warfare developer MADFINGER Games has pushed a minor server-side fix to address connection problems, and it is live now. The update fixes a bug that sometimes prevented players from connecting to servers and does not require any download.
The change was applied server-side only, so players receive the fix without a client patch. Reports described intermittent failures when joining public or private servers. Players still experiencing problems should contact support for targeted help.
Servers report improved connectivity after the change. The fix addresses an issue that sometimes prevented players from connecting to a server and was applied server-side, so clients on Steam do not need to download any patch or restart their installs to benefit. No client update is required. If connection errors persist, MADFINGER Games asks affected players to submit a ticket including logs and session details so the team can investigate.
MADFINGER published the notice on the official Steam announcement.
