Update v0.7.02 Public Test Branch for Sunkenland brings two new warships, an interactive aquarium, thirty ornamental fish, a ship-mounted anti-aircraft gun, and a string of quality-of-life fixes — it matters because naval options and base features will get fresh content to try…
Naval combat gets a bit more punch. Armed Ferry is a slow cargo boat with storage and a current water purifier on the second deck. Heavy Firepower Armed Speedboat is fast and packs three weapon slots, currently the only vessel with that layout. Want to try a tiny war machine? Will you take the speedboat into a raid?
New ship weapon is a Ship-Mounted Anti-Aircraft Gun—Learnable at The Ruins Island. Ships with proper mounts will have more to do when aircraft show up. Wow, it adds a new angle to fights!
An aquarium building lets players display ornamental fish that will swim inside freely, and you can plant red algae at the bottom. Players can enter the aquarium through a gate; the current oxygen supply tech is onboard, so you won’t drown. There is a control panel to move fish from the backpack into the tank and
You can still grill ornamental fish for food if you want to eat them. Kinda cute and practical at once.
Discus Fish get a little special treatment. Color-mutated Discus Fish will not appear in the wild — juvenile Discus Fish must be traded with the Contract Merchant to get them. Curious collectors will have to chase a trade rather than a spawn.
Patch Notes
Update v0.7.02 | Public Test Branch
This version introduces 2 warships:
Armed Ferry
The armed ferry is a cargo vessel equipped with 1 forward cannon slot and 1 machine gun slot on the second deck.
The armed ferry has the following features:
- Two storage crates
- The second deck comes with an current water purifier
- Relatively slow speed
Heavy Firepower Armed Speedboat
Equipped with 1 forward cannon slot and 2 machine gun slots, this armed speedboat is currently the only warship with three weapon slots.
Ship-Mounted Weapons
New Weapon: Ship-Mounted Anti-Aircraft Gun – can only be equipped in cannon slots.
Learnable at The Ruins Island.
New Building
An aquarium – a place to display your collected ornamental fish, which will swim freely inside. You can also plant red algae at the bottom.
The aquarium is made up of three parts:
- Base
- Extension Section (Aquarium)
- Entrance Gate
Players can freely enter and exit the aquarium through the gate (the aquarium is equipped with current oxygen supply technology, so there’s no need to worry about oxygen).
There is a control panel on the front of the aquarium that can be interacted with to open the aquarium interface.
Once opened, you can transfer ornamental fish from your backpack into the aquarium.
Of course, ornamental fish are still fish… so you can grill and eat them too.
New Ornamental Fish
We’ve added a total of 30 new types of ornamental fish, scattered across various locations on the map — for example, near the mansion close to Drifter’s Island.
How to Catch Ornamental Fish? These little fish aren’t very fast — just get close and catch them with your hands!
It’s worth noting that there is one special fish: the Discus Fish. These color-mutated Discus Fish cannot be found in the wild — they can only be obtained by trading a juvenile Discus Fish with the Contract Merchant.
