A brief but revealing ad for Black Ops 7 appeared early on social media, offering a sneak peek at some gameplay features, the release date, and details about the Vault Edition. This fifteen-second clip shows off a new boost jump ability and a mission with giant mech suits, plus a surreal battle against a towering human foe.
The ad surfaced just hours before the official reveal scheduled for Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, which makes it a bit of an accidental early look at what’s coming.
Let’s take a closer look at what the leak showed us…
Social media users shared a low-res screenshot from the ad that confirmed the game’s release date as November 14, matching an earlier leak. The clip highlights vertical combat featuring a “mega jump” boost pack instead of jetpacks. The player character leaps high and glides across the battlefield, which seems to be the core traversal mechanic for this year’s Call of Duty.
One mission snippet shows a fight against a massive, heavily armed mech. Then, in a classic Black Ops twist, there’s a dreamlike sequence where the player faces off against a giant enemy that looks several stories tall. It’s a little wild and cool to see them taking things in that direction.
Here’s the trailer (though it might be gone by now):

Alongside the gameplay footage, the Vault Edition contents were visible in the screenshot. It looks like the previously leaked skins, including the Reznov Challenge Pack, will be included. Pre-ordering the game will grant early beta access, though the beta’s start date wasn’t mentioned.
