With Madden 26 releasing in just a couple of days for Deluxe Edition owners, EA Sports has shared a full look at the gameplay. This sneak peek highlights fresh presentation updates and weather effects, including some intense snowy whiteout conditions that really set the mood.

EA Sports is pushing several on-field improvements this year. These include in-game coaching adjustments, wear and tear on players, stunts and twists, and more realistic throwing motions.
“Gameplay in Madden NFL 26 is all about bringing you closer to the NFL, while providing ultimate control and performance on the sticks,” EA said. “We’re powering our playcall AI with years of NFL-coaching data that will make our gameplay smarter and more rewarding.”
“We’re expanding and replicating signature styles of NFL players and coaches that you can see and feel. Not only that, our team is continuing to focus on the fundamentals of the sport for more depth and gameplay balance.”
Madden 26 will be available starting August 7 for those who purchased the Deluxe Edition. Everyone else will have to wait until August 14 to jump in. The game is launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Yep, it’s the first Madden on a Nintendo console since Madden 13 back in 2012.
