The First Descendant recently received a maintenance-free patch that targets some nagging Battle Pass reward issues players have encountered. If you’ve noticed some rewards missing or XP not adding up correctly, this update should resolve the issue without any downtime.
The patch went live on July 28 at 4:30 AM PDT and applies to Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 versions of the game. Here’s what you need to know about the fixes included:
Patch Details
- Fixed an issue where rewards unclaimed from a Battle Pass that ended before Season 2 Episode 2 were not automatically granted upon login after the new season began.
- Logging back in will now correctly award any unclaimed rewards from the previous season.
- However, rewards that can be exchanged using unused Bonus Coins are not eligible.
- Affected players will receive five days’ worth of Daily Challenge Battle Pass XP as compensation.
- Logging back in will now correctly award any unclaimed rewards from the previous season.
- Fixed an issue where EXP was not properly awarded at Battle Pass Season Level 1.
- Logging back in will now automatically grant Battle Pass EXP and Supply Coins for any Season Weekly Challenges you’d already completed.
- Logging back in will now automatically grant Battle Pass EXP and Supply Coins for any Season Weekly Challenges you’d already completed.
For the best experience, it’s recommended to reconnect to the game after the update. It’s kinda nice when these small fixes come through quietly, isn’t it? You might wonder why some rewards didn’t show up in the first place. Well, bugs happen, and it’s good that the developers are keeping an eye on these details.
