The Surge 2 aims for a 2019 release, Focus Home Interactive and Deck13 renew partnership
As the title says, Focus Home Interactive and Deck13 aim for a “lot sooner than later” release. Therefore, on the official twitter of The Surge, there has been recently a new tweet announcing the birth of The Surge 2 which is scheduled to come in 2019 to all three platforms, PC, PS4, and Xbox One!

The new Action RPG title will bring a whole new world different to what The Surge offered, which is going to be a massive city with a much better design. Deck13’s engine will take care of all that, and as Focus Home Interactive claimed, there will be an expanded limb targeting system, for which players find quite surprising.
Furthermore, Focus Home Interactive had claimed that the combat would become a lot more tactical than before, including many features that were missed in The Surge.
