Do you know when you realized you could play your favorite games without needing a console? Well, grab your popcorn because it’s happening! Microsoft just dropped some exciting news: Xbox Cloud Gaming is heading to LG Smart TVs!
If you’re rocking a shiny new LG Smart TV and are an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you’ll soon be able to stream tons of games from your living room. Imagine kicking back on the couch, controller in hand, diving into all those titles. How cool is that?
Lori Wright, Corporate Vice President of Xbox, was pretty pumped about this, too. She mentioned that this deal gives players “even more choice in how they enjoy their favorite games.” Sounds promising, right? Plus, if you’ve got some games already in your library that aren’t part of Game Pass, you can also stream them on these TVs. Talk about options!
The only caveat here is that we don’t have any juicy details yet about whether older LG models (like those released in 2024 or earlier) will get access to this feature. Fingers crossed they do because who doesn’t want to game on a bigger screen?
