Get Ready for Fortnite Ballistic, a Tactical 5v5 Shooter

Finally, we can play Counter-Strike in Fortnite.

You guys! Epic Games just dropped a bombshell that’s going to shake up the whole Fortnite universe. Say hello to Fortnite Ballistic, an electrifying new first-person competitive shooter launching on December 11! Can you even believe it? I’m seriously buzzing with excitement over here!

This isn’t just some random mode; it’s like they took the essence of Fortnite, tossed it into a blender, and hit frappe. We’re talking about ranked and unranked modes where strategy meets chaos, which is exactly what we crave after those epic build battles, right?

Introducing: Fortnite Ballistic

Alright, let’s break this down! So, Fortnite Ballistic is all about that no-build life. It’s a 5v5 showdown where players are split into attackers and defenders. Picture this: you’ve got Skyline 10 as your battleground, and it’s all about planting devices while your friends back you up. Are classic vibes reminiscent of games like Call of Duty or Counters-Strike? Heck yes!

The cool part? You can still sport your favorite outfits, wraps, sprays, you name it! Imagine rolling onto the battlefield looking fly while taking down enemies left and right. Talk about style points!

Who doesn’t love starting with just a pistol and then scrambling to earn better gear? It adds that thrilling pressure that makes each round feel so intense! Plus, they’re kicking things off with ranked and unranked modes from day one. Thank you, Epic!

The blog post revealed that this will be available on every platform except South Korea and Russia. So if you’re in those regions… well, sorry, folks.

How It Works:

The setup is pretty straightforward: attackers try to plant their devices at sites A or B while defenders do their best to stop them. Classic competitive gameplay model, what’s not to love? And let’s not forget the credits system; starting each round with just a pistol gives me those nostalgic vibes from other tactical shooters.

This could really spice up the competitive scene within Fortnite. Just imagine the strategies brewing in players’ minds as they figure out how best to approach each match-up! I can already hear the screams during intense moments (you know what I mean!). Are you ready for some nail-biting action?

  • Launch Date: December 11 (Early Access)
  • Map: Skyline 10 – One map at launch.
  • Modes:
    • No-build environment.
    • Ranked & Unranked modes available at launch.
  • Preset Usage:
    • You can use outfits, wraps, sprays & emotes from the core platform.
