Battlestate Games, the developer behind Escape From Tarkov, has announced a new patch, which is going to be deployed tomorrow, April 3. The update will take approximately 5 hours to deploy, and the maintenance will be extended if needed further.
The maintenance will start at 8:00 AM BST / 3:00 AM EDT. As usual, with every big update, the game won’t be accessible during its deployment. Many people on the socials are predicting a wipe, and as much as I’d like to decline this, it won’t surprise me if Battlestate Games just wipes the game out of the blue.
Recently, an event made it rain snow again and introduced a new faction. So, this update could not only sound the end of the event but also introduce a new one. The other potential feature everyone’s been waiting for is the ability to use their PMCs inside the Tarkov Arena component. Either way, we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see the patch notes that are going to be included.
