Palworld has reached a new milestone by selling over four million copies three days after its Early Access launch. The developer, Pocketpair, announced this monumental achievement, reflecting the game’s immense popularity. Palworld is super exciting.
Palworld also made a historic mark on Steam. The game shattered the record for the highest concurrent player count for any paid game, dethroning the previous record-holder, Cyberpunk 2077, with a peak of 1,291,967 concurrent players. This achievement placed Palworld in the esteemed ranks of Steam’s all-time top concurrent player counts, alongside heavyweights like PUBG: Battlegrounds, Counter-Strike 2, Lost Ark, and Dota 2.
Palworld was launched on January 19 for the Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store. The game’s allure was evident from the get-go, with one million units flying off the virtual shelves within the first eight hours and two million within 24 hours. Moreover, its inclusion in the Xbox Game Pass likely significantly amplified its reach and appeal.
