The leak comes from Dealabs user billbil-kun, known for their accurate game-related leaks. This time, Billbil-Kun reveals that Tales of Kenzera: ZAU is in the works and is set to add a new dimension to EA’s indie lineup.
The game’s development is in the hands of Surgent Studios, a UK-based transmedia studio that partnered with EA in March 2021. Previously known as Silver Rain Games, the studio has been making waves in the gaming industry.
Tales of Kenzera: ZAU is described as a 2.5D side-scrolling adventure platformer, drawing parallels to the popular Trine series. It centers around a young protagonist adorned with two necklaces and bestowed with magical powers in his head and fists.
An announcement is anticipated soon, with the game’s release date set for April 23, 2024. It’s slated to be priced at $17.99.
