Grounded 2 will arrive on PlayStation 5 on August 11 at 11:00 AM PT. The release will be an early access launch, not the game’s full 1.0 version.
Obsidian Entertainment first launched Grounded 2 in early access for Xbox and PC on July 29, 2025. The PlayStation 5 version will bring the miniature survival adventure to Sony’s console, though the complete release remains further away according to the game’s previously announced roadmap.
Grounded 2 PS5 Release Time
The PlayStation Store shows the PS5 release scheduled for August 11 at 11:00 AM PT. That is 2:00 PM ET and 7:00 PM BST on the same date. Players in several parts of Asia and Oceania will receive access on August 12 because of the time difference.

The upcoming PS5 release will not mark the end of development. Players should expect the version to begin with early access content, with more additions planned before the full launch.
Recent updates have already expanded the game with new content. The Beat the Heat update added the King Dozer boss, a new area, and more options for Buggies.
How Much Will Grounded 2 Cost on PS5?
Obsidian has not confirmed the PS5 price yet. The Xbox and PC editions suggest that the Standard Edition could cost around $29.99 in the United States, with a listed price of £24.99 in the United Kingdom. That edition includes the core early access content.
It is also unconfirmed whether the Founder’s Edition Bundle will be offered on PS5. If it becomes available, its expected price is $49.99 or £34.99. The bundle includes the following items:
- Four premium skins with custom emotes: the Minotaur, Myrmidon, Rogue, and Mant
- ONYX-PRO, Inside the Game: Grounded 2 Artbook and Soundtrack
- More items will be added and secrets to uncover throughout development
The PlayStation 5 version is scheduled to launch on August 11, but its final price and the availability of the Founder’s Edition Bundle still need confirmation.
