
XBOX’s 25th-anniversary celebration is spreading across player profiles, Game Pass, fan merchandise, and live events. Community-made designs are available now, while FanFest’s next stops begin August 26. XBOX shared the full lineup in its 25th-anniversary announcement, ahead of the anniversary on November 15.

Community designs arrive for XBOX profiles and consoles
XBOX partnered with community creators Klobrille and Ben Kenobi on a collection of gamerpics, backgrounds, and a dynamic theme for XBOX consoles. The designs are available now and give fans a few fresh ways to personalize their profiles.
On console, open Settings ‘ Profile ‘ Customize profile to choose a gamerpic or theme. The dynamic background is under Settings ‘ General ‘ Personalization ‘ My background ‘ Dynamic background.
PC users can open the XBOX app, select View Profile, and use the pencil icon above the current Gamerpic. Themes are available through View Profile ‘ Customize profile.
Fans can also share their own XBOX-inspired creations by tagging @XBOX with #XBOX25.
Every player can claim an XBOX 25th Anniversary badge
Starting August 24, players who sign in to their XBOX account on console, PC, or the XBOX mobile app receive the XBOX 25th Anniversary profile badge. It can be displayed on the account profile through the end of 2026.
Game Pass collections revisit XBOX history

Game Pass will feature curated collections built around memorable games from each XBOX generation. The collections will cover the original XBOX, XBOX 360, XBOX One, and XBOX Series X|S, with games playable on console and/or PC.
Examples include Fable Anniversary, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Fallout 4, and Psychonauts 2. The broader selection will give players a way to revisit familiar favorites or try older XBOX releases for the first time.
FanFest continues with stops across 6 cities

The XBOX FanFest Tour began in Los Angeles during the XBOX Games Showcase. Its remaining stops are scheduled across Europe, Asia, North America, and Australia:
- Cologne, Germany: August 26 at gamescom
- Tokyo, Japan: September 17 during Tokyo Game Show
- London, U.K.: September 26
- Mexico City, Mexico: October 17
- Sydney, Australia: October 17
- Toronto, Canada: November 6
- Seattle, U.S.: More information coming soon
Tickets for each stop will be awarded through city-specific sweepstakes, giving fans a chance to attend the events in their region.
XBOX Gear launches with 3 collections

XBOX Gear is now open as a home for official XBOX-branded merchandise. Its launch lineup includes 3 collections: Gloss, Est.01, and Blood Gulch.
The collections range from everyday XBOX pieces and designs inspired by the brand’s history to apparel with a more fashion-focused look. More collections are planned for later releases.
The 25th Anniversary hub will track future updates
XBOX also plans to keep adding anniversary updates, products, news, and fan experiences throughout the year. The 25th Anniversary hub will gather those announcements as the celebration continues.
