Microsoft is stuffing December’s Game Pass calendar with a mix of day-one releases and library additions, with Mortal Kombat 1, Routine, Death Howl, Dome Keeper and more arriving across cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S and handheld platforms, according to Xbox’s official December Game Pass post.
Some of the biggest names land in the first half of the month. Monster Train 2 and several premium-tier titles show up December 3, while Routine is available day one on December 4 and Death Howl arrives day one on December 9. The additions lean across tiers and platforms, with a mix of Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Premium listings, a reminder of how Microsoft has segmented access since the subscription changes to Game Pass Ultimate.
Mortal Kombat 1 arrives December 10 and brings the revamped fighting system, new modes and the series’ signature finishers to the subscription. The MK1 launch is timed after an already busy month for the service and gives competitive and casual players a fresh entry point into the franchise without a separate purchase.
December additions
- Available now – Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is live across cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S.

Beyond the headliners, the December slate includes co-op roguelikes, strategy ports and family-friendly picks such as Bratz: Rhythm & Style on December 11. Xbox’s post also calls out several day-one releases and Game Preview entries, reinforcing the service’s mix of live-service and premium drops that have been common in recent months, as seen in earlier Game Pass batches like the October wave.

The post also lists DLC and seasonal events, including Sea of Thieves Season 18 on December 11 and Palworld‘s Home Sweet Home update on December 17.
