Xbox and IKEA have announced YXSTABY, a new collection centered on making more room for play at home. The collaboration was introduced on August 26, 2026, through an Xbox Wire announcement, with IKEA also presenting the nine-piece collection at Gamescom.
The August 26 announcement initially shared YXSTABY’s name and broad focus without detailing its products, prices, availability, or launch date. IKEA’s official collection page now fills in those gaps: the full lineup is scheduled to go live on October 1, 2026, with prices ranging from $14.99 to $149.99.
Named pieces include a TV stand, side table, controller display cubes, a laptop stand with built-in storage, and a D-pad cushion. The collection is designed to bring gaming gear and living-room furniture together without letting the setup take over the whole room.
A thumbstick stool with a little wiggle room
The green thumbstick stool is the collection’s most playful-looking piece. It will cost $49.99 / £35 and will not be available to order until October 1, 2026.
Under the seat, a circular base lets the stool lean and rotate as you reposition yourself. Its diamond-textured rim also provides extra grip around the seat, giving the oversized controller-inspired design a practical job to do.
The accompanying presentation places YXSTABY in a furnished gaming space, with a large screen, seating, shelving, and room for play featured together. Shoppers can browse the collection now and sign up for availability notifications before the October launch.
