Leenzee has released Title Update 1.6 for WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers on PC, introducing reduced VRAM requirements and modest performance improvements that are most significant for players with 8GB GPUs and similar systems.
The studio trimmed the amount of VRAM the game requires, which should help users with 8GB cards run the game more comfortably. Independent testing by YouTube channel S2Games Bench shows measurable gains. On an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Founders Edition, the patch delivered a 12 percent increase in average frames per second on Medium settings versus the launch build. On Ultra settings, the uplift was more minor, about 7 percent.
Title Update 1.6 also fixes a specific issue where DLSS Ultra Performance mode produced an overly blurry image at specific screen resolutions. The developers note the update is roughly 5.3GB, because it packages exclusive Deluxe Edition expansion content along with the optimizations. Steam will download the patch automatically the next time the client launches. More details are available in the Steam news post.
