WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, developed by Leenzee, will debut on PC this Summer 2025. Players can purchase the game through the Epic Games Store and Steam.
The action unfolds in the land of Shu during the late Ming Dynasty, where various factions are embroiled in conflict and a mysterious illness is transforming people into monstrous beings. In this rich narrative, players assume the role of Wuchang, a pirate warrior suffering from amnesia. As Wuchang, players will embark on a journey to uncover her hidden past while grappling with the dangers of the terrifying Ornithropy disease.
This game follows many conventions found in Souls-like titles; players can upgrade their weapons and learn new skills by defeating foes. A notable feature is the rare Red Mercury that allows for specialization within combat styles as players progress through their adventure. Wuchang’s abilities can also be augmented with powerful enchantments that provide additional strategies tailored to individual playstyles.
While Leenzee asserts that the compelling storyline will be accompanied by dynamic combat mechanics, early glimpses show familiar elements akin to a typical Dark Souls clone. It’s worth noting that WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers is powered by Unreal Engine 5, raising expectations regarding its visual fidelity compared to other upcoming titles like Black Myth: Wukong.
505 Games has yet to disclose the official PC system requirements. It’s reasonable to expect these details to emerge around May or June, leading up to the launch. We’ll keep you updated as more information comes in.
