World of Tanks Will Bring the Durendal to the Assembly Shop on August 6

The Tier X French medium can fire a 700-HP two-shell burst in 0.5 seconds, but its 1,800 HP hull leaves little room for mistakes.

World of Tanks will bring the Durendal to its Assembly Shop from August 6 through August 9, 2026. Players will be able to build the Tier X French support medium by investing a mix of in-game resources, with stock limited to 85,000 vehicles in the EU region.

The game’s official Assembly Shop announcement also confirms that every Durendal will include the numbered “Intesa” 3D style while supplies last.

A fast medium built for short attacks

The Durendal is designed for players who prefer movement and timing over armor trades. Its autoloader can fire a two-shell burst worth 700 HP in 0.5 seconds, while the full four-shell clip offers up to 1,400 HP in potential damage.

That burst is best saved for distracted targets, enemies caught away from cover, or opponents stuck in a reload. The Durendal can strike and disappear before the enemy has much time to respond, but its thin hull and 1,800 HP pool make careless exchanges costly.

The turret and 9 degrees of gun depression give it some options from hull-down positions. Its real protection comes from terrain, vision, timing, and a clean route out of trouble. With a 60 km/h top speed and 27.1 h.p./t of specific power, it can change flanks quickly and pressure weak points before the battle settles.

How to build the Durendal

The Assembly Shop lets players fill the progress bar with any combination of available resources. The exchange rates are:

10,000 Free Experience for 1%
550 gold for 1%
1,250,000 credits for 1%
20 universal fragments for 1%
32 national fragments for 1%
500 bonds for 1%

Blueprint fragments can fill a maximum of 36% of the assembly bar. National fragments can account for up to 22%, while universal fragments can provide up to 14%.

Invested resources are removed immediately, but they can be reclaimed or rearranged during the event with the Return Resources button. If the Durendal is not finished before the Assembly Shop closes, all invested resources will automatically return to the account.

Limited EU stock

Only 85,000 Durendal vehicles will be available in the EU region. Players who complete the assembly before that supply runs out will receive the tank along with its numbered “Intesa” 3D style.
