World of Tanks players can preload Update 2.4.1 before it goes live. Wargaming lists the download at 2.65 GB for the SD version and 3.27 GB for HD in its Update 2.4.1 preload notice. Update 2.4.1 will also bring Nebelburg to Random Battles and adjustments to five other maps, details Wargaming outlined in its map-change details.
The update itself is still coming soon, so downloading now prepares the files ahead of release rather than making the new version playable immediately.
To enable preloading, open Wargaming.net Game Center settings, check “Download updates in advance,” then click Save. The setting needs to be enabled for the download to begin in advance.
