Why Castlevania Nocturne Season 2 Deserves Your Attention

Castlevania Nocturne season 2 is getting rave reviews, yet many are missing out.

So, let’s talk about something that’s flying under the radar, Castlevania Nocturne season 2. Critics are raving about it with a perfect score, but somehow, it’s not hitting the mainstream like it should. What’s going on here?

Sure, Netflix has been churning out some decent series lately, but none have matched the hype of shows like Squid Game. Yet, here comes Castlevania Nocturne, strutting in with a shiny new rating of 100% from critics! Yes, you heard that right. It’s crazy to think that such a fantastic show is being overlooked by so many.

The first season already had a solid reputation with its 96% critic score. But what’s wild? The audience reception for season 1 was a mere 47% rocky at best. Some fans complained it wasn’t true to its roots and threw around comments about it “going woke.” Fast forward to season 2, and we’re seeing a much better audience reaction, with a whopping 93%! Did they fix things up? It feels like they did!

If you look at other Netflix hits like Arcane or Cyberpunk Edgerunners, those shows landed right at the top of Netflix’s charts. But Nocturne? It debuted below #5 and has sadly dropped to tenth place. By tomorrow, it might entirely vanish from view! Isn’t that just heartbreaking?

I’ll be honest; I enjoyed season 1 but didn’t think it could match the original vibe of the classic Castlevania series. Did you know that seasons 2 through 4 of the original scored even higher than this new installment? Crazy numbers there!

The good news is we’re still waiting for news on whether Netflix will greenlight a season 3 for Nocturne. Given how season 2 ended (no spoilers!), I’m crossing my fingers they take it further. Typically, animated projects get more leeway on Netflix, I mean just look at what happened with *Tomb Raider*. Regardless of their initial chart positions, they seem willing to invest in these stories.

If you’re looking for something fresh and exciting amidst all the noise or just need an animated binge-watch session, give this series another shot! Trust me; you won’t regret jumping into this dark fantasy world again.
