Where Winds Meet has hit a player milestone and a tidy to-do list. Everstone Studio says the free-to-play open-world game has passed two million players and posted an update that names a handful of fixes and features it plans to deliver in the coming weeks, including PS5 Pro support for PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, or PSSR.
The studio lists immediate work on network routing that previously sent some players in Europe and the Middle East to nonlocal servers. That fix has been deployed, and Everstone says it will keep monitoring the data and player reports. High latency in Online mode is marked as fixed, and Solo mode latency is targeted for a mid December update.
Localization and voiceover quality are receiving attention. The team says it has revised translations to be more idiomatic and optimized dubbing and subtitles in a number of story quests. Interface tweaks are also underway and include an improved beginner tutorial, deeper character customization, and clearer English puzzle clues.
Everstone published a short list of features and platform work it expects to implement over the next two months. The items called out are Steam Deck compatibility, multi time zone display, split outfit customization, PS5 Pro support for PSSR and an enhanced audio experience. The studio says these items are due to be released before the end of the year.

Everstone also called out multi character creation features among its broader plans. Where Winds Meet has attracted attention on PC as well.
