In five hours from now, we’re going to see more PlayStation 5 games being revealed. Fans and PlayStation 5 owners should be on the lookout as Sony will introduce a 40-minute deep dive into upcoming games on the new-gen console. Just a quick reminder, the games revealed today are supposed to launch during this holiday season.
The PlayStation Showcase 2021 airs this Thursday, September 9th, and promises a 40-minute look at upcoming Playstation 5 games that will launch this holiday season.
Where to watch Sony’s PlayStation Showcase for September 2021?
The broadcast will be available on both Twitch and YouTube. The YouTube player is already up and running, while the Twitch player will become interactive as the livestream begins.
The Livestream will give a brief look at consoles and third-party developers, as well as their upcoming holiday season launch this year and later. PlayStation didn’t specify which titles will be announced or shown during today’s broadcast. Still, one can assume that Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is likely to show Horizon Forbidden West, launching in February 2022.
While that will be the primary breakthrough for today’s event, we do believe that God of War sequel will also take place. With all the major headlines numbered within, we can also assume a potential Gran Turismo 7 showcase. The game was delayed to 2022, so it might be the perfect time to appear on the little screens.
All of the titles above have something in common, as they are all planned to launch in February 2022 on PlayStation 5.
