Silent Hill f has just shown off 12 minutes of gameplay captured from its latest preview build, courtesy of YouTube’s ‘Bahamut Video Game Madness.’ This glimpse gives us a peek at what the game currently looks like and what to expect when it drops.
In this new chapter, you play as Hinako, a girl navigating a haunting Japanese setting crafted by Ryukishi07, a well-known author in the horror community. The game promises a mix of psychological horror with beautiful visuals and a soundtrack by Akira Yamaoka. The story dives deep into themes of fear, regret, and tough choices that you just can’t dodge.
The problem is that the PC version will set you back a hefty 80 euros. That’s steep for most PC gamers, who tend to be pretty picky about value. Will the game’s quality and smooth performance justify that price tag? If it runs flawlessly, looks excellent, and nails the story, maybe it will. But if it stumbles like so many PC releases with technical issues, Konami might have to rethink its pricing strategy for this platform.
Silent Hill f is scheduled to release on PC on September 25. You can check out its official PC system requirements here. Below is the gameplay video to see for yourself what the game offers. Watch closely and tell me, does this look worth the price?
What do you think? Will Silent Hill f deliver the chills and excites it promises, or is this a case of paying a premium for a rough ride?
