Warzone has a fresh glitch making waves that lets players switch from the usual first-person perspective to third-person during matches. This unexpected camera shift gives a tactical advantage, letting players see more of their surroundings and peek around corners without exposing themselves.
Winning in Warzone is tough, and players often tweak settings or gear up with the best loadouts to survive. But this glitch, discovered by streamer HunterTV, flips the script by changing how you see the battlefield.
How to Trigger the Third-Person Glitch in Warzone
If you want to try this out, here’s the rundown:
- Open Quick Settings and clear all your favorites to keep things simple.
- Head to Graphics Settings and find the option labeled Parachute Camera Perspective.
- Please set it to 3rd Person (Infill Only).
- Add this setting to your favorites.
- Jump into any Warzone mode match.
- Land on a high spot like a building or ledge where you can deploy your parachute.
- Jump off, pull your parachute, and open the settings menu while gliding.
- Switch the parachute camera from 3rd Person (Infill Only) to 3rd Person, then quickly switch back to 3rd Person (Infill Only).
- Exit the menus, and once you touch the ground, your view will be locked in third-person for the rest of the match.
- Avoid pulling your parachute again during the game, as it resets the camera back to first-person.
Why does this matter? The third-person perspective lets you peek around corners without stepping out, giving you early warning of enemies. Players also report that aim assist feels stronger in this mode, which helps compensate for the lack of iron sights. While it might not be as precise as first-person eager, the extra help can keep you on target.
Some players have already encountered opponents abusing this glitch in Ranked Play, which is causing frustration. The main downside is that pulling the parachute again resets the camera, but perks like Mountaineer can reduce fall damage if you need to escape from rooftops.
Raven Software hasn’t commented on this glitch yet, but they’ll likely patch it soon to keep matches fair, especially with Season 4 approaching.
