Warhammer: Vermintide 2 players developers have rolled out a hotfix that updates the Easy Anti-Cheat, which is super important as the old version is shutting down soon. This means we’re getting better protection against cheats and tampering, which is always good!
The patch brings some interesting changes that you might want to know about. First, if you’re worried about how this will affect your game, relax! There shouldn’t be any noticeable differences in your regular gameplay. Official and Modded realms are running smoothly, so you do not need extra steps to keep playing.
If you’ve been experiencing compatibility issues with your operating system, this update might resolve those pesky problems. While support is officially dedicated to Windows 10 and 11, some barriers may have just crumbled away for others, too.
Let’s talk about mods because I know many players love their custom content! The system supporting Sanctioned Mods has changed, meaning that until these mods are updated by their authors, they might face some hiccups in the official realm. The team is actively working with mod authors to sort this out quickly. Who doesn’t want their favorite mods back in action?
Just a heads up: connecting to other lobbies might take longer initially, but it should return to normal soon. Oh, and if you enjoy Versus Quickplay, bad news for now, it’s temporarily disabled while they update the servers.
Hotfix 6.3.4 patch notes – 3rd of March
