Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is receiving Hotfix #72 (version 1.8.4) across all platforms, focusing on fixing a few critical issues and tweaking the Havoc Campaign rotation. If you’ve been diving into the grim darkness of the far future, these tweaks might smooth out some rough edges you’ve encountered.
First, the hotfix addresses a server crash that occurred during Refinery Delta-17 runs. Yikes, nothing kills immersion like a sudden disconnect mid-mission, right? This crash fix should help keep those firefights uninterrupted.
Next, the developers have decided to roll back the FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) to version 3.1.2. They’re eager to balance performance and feature support, including FSR 4, which will be refined further once they’ve polished it. It’s a bit of a step back, but sometimes you gotta take one step back to leap forward.
There was also a nasty bug with the Arbites Talent called ‘Razor-Jaw Augment.’ It was unintentionally boosted by Cyber-Mastiff damage buffs, inflating damage up to 450%. That’s a huge spike! The fix should bring things back into line and make combat feel fairer.
Havoc Campaign – Mission Pool and Mutator Rotation
Every third week during a Havoc Campaign, the mission and mutator pools rotate. Next week, some missions and mutators will switch out, keeping the gameplay fresh and a bit unpredictable.
Mission Pool
- Incoming
- Hab Dreyko
- Mercantile HL-70-04-510
- Outgoing
- Consignment Yard HL17-36
- Chasm Logistratum
Mutators
- Incoming
- None
- Outgoing
- Pus-Hardened Skin
- Inferno Special Event
So, if you’ve been grinding those outgoing missions or mutators, it might be time to switch gears. The rotation keeps things from getting stale, which is always welcome in a game like Darktide where variety helps keep tension high.
What do you think about these changes? Are you happy to see the FSR rollback or bummed out? Does the mission rotation keep you coming back? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
