Warframe’s Update 39: Isleweaver is out now, inviting players back to the floating Kingdom of Duviri to battle the Indifference’s latest incursion. The update is packed with fresh story content, a new Warframe, weaponry, and a major rework for Valkyr. Plus, there’s a limited-time Operation to test your skills and snag exclusive rewards!
Right off the bat, you get to go into the Isleweaver Duviri node, a fresh story arc called The Triumph of Dust. Major Neci Rusalka has resurfaced with her Murmur minions, and Dominus Thrax needs your help to push them back. What’s cool is that you can bring your full Warframe arsenal into Duviri for this fight, but companions and gear items are off-limits. Instead, you summon your Kaithe for backup. The node mixes familiar objectives with a new twist, including a required showdown against the spider-themed mini-boss Oraxia, who’s also the 61st Warframe joining the roster.
Oraxia’s abilities are about that lethal predator vibe—she latches onto walls to turn invisible, leaps at enemies with toxin damage, traps foes in webs that increase their damage vulnerability, and unleashes a toxin dart barrage. Her ultimate lets her prowl immune to status effects with boosted health and toxin-infused ranged attacks. You can earn her blueprints and components by defeating The Fragmented in Isleweaver and trading Scuttler Husks, a new resource dropped in the node.
Speaking of resources, you’ll also find Temporal Dust in Isleweaver, described as the dust of decayed universes tied to the Murmur’s nightmare essence. This dust is used for crafting Oraxia, her weapons, and a new Incarnon Heavy Scythe called Thalys.
Oh, and the weapons! Oraxia’s signature Spinnerex whip and Scyotid secondary bring toxin damage with cool mechanics like enemies bursting on death to spread poison or snares grouping enemies. You can grind for their blueprints or snag them from the market in an Oraxia Bundle.
The limited-time Operation: Eight Claw just kicked off and runs until July 16th. You’ll start in Duviri’s cave with Dominus Thrax himself, then tackle randomized objectives culminating in fights against Oraxia and a familiar Murmur boss. Earn Dominus Aureus as you play, which you can spend on exclusive rewards like new sigils, parazon skins, and even previous Operation items. Plus, your clan’s collective spending contributes to unlocking special Invictus Signas for everyone. After the event ends, the Isleweaver node stays accessible for farming.
Another highlight is the Valkyr rework. She’s been revamped to capture her berserker rage theme better. Her new passive builds Rage with melee kills and hits, boosting melee damage up to 300% and triggering a death-prevention invulnerability when the Rage meter is high. Her abilities got tuned for faster traversal, more enemy grouping, and improved buffs. Hysteria no longer grants invulnerability but instead synergizes with her Rage for powerful attacks and life steal. Honestly, Valkyr feels way more brutal and fluid now.
The update refreshes Junctions with a better UI on the new player side and adjusts tasks to teach key mechanics like modding, crafting, and scanning. Rewards are assigned per task, so you don’t have to wait until the Specter fight to get goodies. Plus, some quest orders changed for smoother story flow. The Archwing Launcher is now granted right after the Archwing quest so that you can equip it immediately.
There’s also a ton of more minor but neat improvements: new TennoGen skins themed around Isleweaver, new market cosmetics like the Citrine Aphrodita Collection, a new Baro offering called Void Surplus with mystery rewards, and quality of life updates for Dojo decorating, Captura, HUD customization, and more.
Performance also received some love, with optimizations for fog, memory, and shader sizes and fixes for specific bugs causing freezes or crashes. The team also tackled a huge list of fixes, including UI glitches, quest issues, enemy behavior, and even some hilarious cloth physics bugs.
Yikes, that’s a lot! But honestly, it’s impressive how much they packed into this update. The Isleweaver node alone is worth checking out, especially if you like the Duviri vibe and want to test your Warframe skills against some creepy crawlers. Valkyr mains will want to hop back in and try her new kit. And who isn’t curious about the new weapons and Operation rewards?
