Warframe has received update 2.42/1.050, which applies the Isleweaver Hotfix #4. This patch is smaller than usual but includes essential bug fixes and some gameplay adjustments that players will appreciate.

Digital Extremes has focused on addressing various issues, especially those affecting quests, skins, and performance. There are also PlayStation-specific fixes and some improvements to inventory handling.

Warframe Isleweaver Hotfix #4 Highlights (Version 2.42/1.050.000)

PlayStation Exclusive Fixes:

  • Corrected the Accessibility option “Fire Manual Trigger Weapons Continuously” to properly respect Keyboard and Mouse input instead of only Controller values.
  • Resolved several rare crashes reported by players.

Changes:

  • Dreamer’s Bond has been made unsellable since it’s required to complete Junction Tasks.
    • If you accidentally sold or dissolved your Dreamer’s Bond, contacting the support team will get it restored.
  • Server load optimization related to the 1999 Calendar Challenges.
  • Inbox attachments no longer display the count of owned blueprints, which was causing confusion about received items.
  • Improved loading speed when switching between Inventory categories.

Top Fixes:

  • Fixed missing conversations with Velimir & Minerva KIM after collecting all Isleweaver Fragments.
  • Corrected health modifiers applying twice on The Fragmented Boss enemies during Steel Path and Archimedea missions.
  • Addressed an issue where all Mods would unequip after upgrading a Mod on an Exalted Weapon via the Loadout sidebar.
  • Resolved a bug with the “Crouch Button is Toggle” option causing Oraxia to end bullet jumps in an unintended long slide when Silken Stride is active.
  • Clarified the Phobos Junction task requiring players to talk to Maroo to complete it.
  • Fixed rare cases where the “Fund All Decorations” option left Dojo Decorations broken. A retroactive fix is in development for affected players.

Additional Fixes:

  • Addressed several issues with the Hildryn Sarcostema Skin at the artist’s request:
    • Helmet color corrected to match the body.
    • Adjusted helmet rigging for more natural movement of the “whiskers.”
    • Fixed floating tendrils on the back of the head to appear more like hair.
  • Fixed several Junction tasks not tracking progress properly when completed inside a Dojo.
  • Corrected the Thalys icon in the Arsenal to show the proper form.
  • Fixed energy color inconsistencies on Octavia skins and Octavia Prime helmet tint inheritance.
  • Resolved an issue with the Operator appearing in the Transference Chair if selecting the Drifter after certain quests.
  • Fixed missing Block input icon in the Melee Combo screen.
  • Made Spinnerex Blade and Scyotid Gauntlet non-tradeable as intended.
  • Removed a small dot appearing on screen when the Quick Access Wheel is open.
  • Fixed multiple script errors involving Ayatan Stars, Krubies petting, Duviri chests, Hydroid’s Tempest Barrage, Kullervo’s Recompense, Railjack Customization, and rare post-mission crashes.

It’s a tidy update that should smooth out some of the rough edges players have noticed. Are you affected by any of these issues? Did the hotfix improve your gameplay experience? Let me know in the comments below!
