Digital Extremes deployed Hotfix 41.0.6 for Warframe on January 8, 2026. The patch focuses on polishing The Old Peace quest, toning down overly bright visual effects, and fixing a number of progression-stopping bugs and spawn issues.
The biggest player-facing tweaks are to Jade’s Glory VFX and the temporary removal of certain Techrot modifiers from specific Hex Bounties that could prevent Extraction. Several quest camera transitions and character conversation blockers were also addressed.

Changes:
- Adjusted Jade’s Glory on High VFX to work better with the “Reduce Teammate Visual Effects” setting, and reduced some of the brighter elements following community feedback.
- Temporarily removed Techrot Upsurge and Volatile Techrot modifiers from spawning in certain Hex Bounties as they could prevent Extraction.
- Polished some camera transitions in a later stage of The Old Peace quest.
Top Fixes:
- Fixed being unable to ask Roathe to date in La Cathédrale.
- Fixed Roathe being permanently ragdolled by Voruna’s Ulfrun’s Descent, causing his fight in Descendia to become progression stopped.
- Fixed being unable to complete the “Catch one fish, mine one gem or metal, and kill one enemy in 30 seconds” Riven Challenge.
- Tentative fix for continued Netracell spawning issues for players who frequently swapped between Operator and Warframe.
- This also addresses a similar issue where enemies would not spawn in Void Cascade.
- Fixed Railjack Crew, On-Call Crew, Specters, and Rescue targets getting stuck in a floating horizontal stance.
- Fixed Marie swapping from Close to Anathema if players ran out of conversations with her at this rank.
- We revised the number of conversations needed to progress to the next rank, and made it easier to unlock opportunities to earn more Chemistry with her at this rank.
- Additionally, we’ve made it easier to unlock opportunities to earn more Chemistry with Lyon and Roathe at Close Rank as well, to avoid a similar issue occurring with them.
- If you were stuck in this state, you should be able to progress with Marie once more!
- We revised the number of conversations needed to progress to the next rank, and made it easier to unlock opportunities to earn more Chemistry with her at this rank.
- Fixed using a Tauron Strike during Titania’s Razorwing causing future casts of Razorwing to break.
- Fixed an unholy Drifter / Operator hybrid appearing at the start of The Duviri Paradox quest if players have not yet completed The New War.
- Fixed the Amanata’s passive no longer re-rolling its buff every 30 hits.
Fixes:
- Fixed getting stuck on Marie’s Infernum in Descendia if you spoke to her just as your Squad descended into the next Infernum.
- Fixed the HUD buff indicator for Uriel’s Remedium not displaying the ability name.
- Fixed cases of players not receiving the Kavat Genetic Codes or Power Cores if they already owned some when purchasing the Vasca Kavat Kit.
- We will be running a script for affected players post-hotfix!
- Fixed the Vinquibus’ custom reticle disappearing in a stage of The Old Peace quest.
- Fixed breakable items in a later stage of The Old Peace quest being broken without Infernalis being properly cast.
- Fixed a case of Cross Platform Save accounts being able to apply multiple Invigorations via the Helminth.
- Fixes towards spot-loading when opening the Pause menu if players have an active Adversary.
- Fixed the Roathe and Marie Gemini Emotes not using custom energy colours.
- Also fixed Marie’s Gemini emote VFX being very bright for squadmates.
- Fixed various edge-cases related to The Devil’s Triad KIM conversations:
- Fixed Loid not actually completing a certain promised action even if players successfully triggered it.
- Fixed Marie appearing to type endlessly in a certain KIM conversation.
- Fixed a dialogue tree choice in one of Lyon’s KIM conversations causing him to become softlocked.
- Fixed being able to confess to lying to Marie despite never having done so.
- Fixed a case of Roathe incorrectly accusing you of doing a certain action that you definitely did not do.
- Fixed being bounced between Lyon and Roathe if Roathe is waiting for you to complete a certain objective for him.
- Fixed a rare case of being able to date all three members of The Devil’s Triad at once. If we wanted that to be possible, we’d call them The Devil’s Thruple instead.
- Fixed various minor typos and an instance of confusing dialogue in KIM conversations with The Devil’s Triad.
- Fixed Teshin transmissions being able to play during Shrine Defense stages in Descendia on The Steel Path.
- Fixed the Operator being able to break into La Cathédrale if they fast travelled in the transition area between the Necralisk and Sanctum Anatomica.
- Fixed a black screen appearing if players entered the Focus Upgrade menu from the Arsenal and quickly exited out.
- Fixed the newly-unequipped weapon slot in the Arsenal being briefly unresponsive after unequipping the Vinquibus.
- Fixed the Tenens X Kalika challenge being completable with any version of The Fragmented boss fight, instead of The Fragmented One as intended.
- Fixed a floating turret in The Perita Rebellion missions.
- Fixed a case of Lettie letting the Drifter rizz themself up instead of her.
- Fixed suffix Honoria causing minor UI clipping issues.
- Fixed Peculiar Audience’s SFX not playing for squadmates.
- Fixed the Power Core’s description stating it can be earned from the Mars Junction when it is now earned from the Mercury Junction.
- Fixed minor inconsistencies with value color tags (ex: green for a positive stat change) in Descendia Blessing descriptions.
- Fixed a script error when attempting to start the Angels of Zariman quest.
- Fixed a script error caused by Nokko’s Sporespring.
- Fixed a script error when related to the minimap when in Grendel’s Pulverize.
