War Thunder’s Hungarian PzH 2000HU Is Back at 30% Off
The artillery vehicle costs 5,614 Golden Eagles through August 24 at 11:00 GMT before returning to its regular 8,020-Golden-Eagle price.

War Thunder has brought back the Hungarian PzH 2000HU for St. Stephen’s Day, giving players a limited-time chance to pick up the self-propelled howitzer at a 30% discount. The vehicle is currently priced at 5,614 Golden Eagles.
The offer began on August 20 at 11:00 GMT and will remain available until August 24 at 11:00 GMT. Players can find the PzH 2000HU under Italy > Army > Premium vehicles, despite the vehicle’s Hungarian connection. Gaijin Entertainment’s Steam announcement also confirms that the vehicle will return to its standard price once the promotion ends.

The PzH 2000HU returns for Hungary’s national holiday
St. Stephen’s Day is Hungary’s main national holiday. It honors the country’s first king, who was canonized for his role in Christianizing Hungary. The holiday also commemorates the founding of the Hungarian state, whose history reaches back to the year 1000.
Once the event ends, the PzH 2000HU will cost 8,020 Golden Eagles. Players considering the purchase have until August 24 at 11:00 GMT to claim the lower price.

What the Hungarian artillery vehicle brings
The PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzer entered service with the Hungarian Army in 2022. In War Thunder, the PzH 2000HU differs from the German versions through its camouflage and camouflage netting.
It is a large vehicle built around an automatic loading system, a laser rangefinder, and HE shells. Its ammunition options also let it engage aerial targets with proximity-fuze shells, giving this heavy artillery platform another way to contribute when aircraft enter the fight.
