War Thunder May Be Unavailable While Gaijin Fixes August 18 Server Issues

War Thunder may currently be unavailable as Gaijin Entertainment works through technical issues affecting its servers on August 18, 2026.
In its Steam announcement, the developer said the team was working to fix the server problems as quickly as possible. The notice did not include an estimated time for the game to return.
Players should expect access problems to continue until the server work is complete. The announcement did not mention a client update, gameplay changes, or new patch notes.
The latest interruption follows another August 11 incident, when War Thunder faced unplanned maintenance without a stated restoration time.
