Alawar has just announced Wall World 2, a sequel that promises to build on its predecessor’s charm while introducing fresh elements. Set to launch on PC via Steam in 2025, this rogue-lite action and tower defense game invites players back into its intriguing world.

In Wall World 2, players will again take control of their robot spider, but this time with expanded features and improved progression systems. The journey involves exploring procedurally generated mines, upgrading your equipment, and fending off waves of enemies. The aim? To uncover the hidden mysteries of the Wall while navigating through various challenges.

The sequel brings a host of new experiences. Players can expect different monster types both on the surface and within the mines—an area that was not accessible in the first installment. New anomalies will also appear, offering unique abilities that can assist or complicate your adventure.

A standout feature is the ability to customize your robospider’s legs. You can swap them out for tank treads or other variants to match your preferred playstyle, enhancing speed and maneuverability, among other benefits. As you progress, you’ll discover new biomes, unlock powerful technologies, and meet intriguing characters in Sphere City, the hub area between expeditions.

About Wall World 2

Key Features

  • Mining and Exploration – Delve into procedurally generated tunnels across the massive Wall, uncovering long-lost technologies and artifacts.
  • Roguelite Progression – Upgrade your mining tools, robospider, and exosuit’s weapons between runs while customizing your spider tank.
  • Dynamic Combat – Defend against relentless enemies using an upgradable arsenal of weapons and abilities.
  • Living World – Experience an ever-changing environment filled with biomes, resources, anomalies, and surprises as you carve your path through the Wall.
  • Customize and Upgrade – Enhance your robospider’s mobility and arsenal between expeditions; upgrades are plentiful.
