VRChat’s Worlds Menu Features a Convention-Themed Row This Week
The featured worlds include a recreation of the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center and a music destination where public instances often host performers.
VRChat is featuring a “Convention in the City” row in its Worlds menu this week, bringing together creator-made destinations inspired by convention venues, performances, fantasy opera houses, and comic-book scenes. The Steam spotlight also links to a web collection where every world has an Open in VRChat button.
WispyWoo’s After Glow brings a neon cyberpunk city into the mix. Reimajo’s VirtualFurence Furry Convention Hotel Estrel Berlin takes a more direct approach, recreating the Estrel Berlin convention hotel.
Texelsaur’s Super MAGFest 2026 recreates the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Maryland. The world also served as the virtual side of a VRChat portal featured at the convention. Super MAGFest takes place each January in National Harbor, Maryland.
For a more music-focused visit, Artistoid’s 新宿ライブストリート ⁄ Shinjuku Live Street often has performers in its public instances. Taia_Hunter’s The Midnight Opera （Theatre） offers another kind of live event, with shows held in its theater.
Nerd Koopa’s Comfy Ship rounds out the featured stops with a spaceship setting. The full collection is available on the web, with a direct VRChat entry button for each world.
