VRChat just got a fresh boost with the rollout of the Avatar Marketplace and update 2025.2.2, build 1648. It’s live on every platform, meaning no matter where you hang out in VRChat, you can now shop for avatars more efficiently than ever before.

The Avatar Marketplace lets you browse and grab new avatars directly, which might change how you customize your look in the virtual world. It’s cool to see this level of convenience finally landing, right? You can check out all the details in the full patch notes here.

Wondering what exactly changed with update 2025.2.2? The devs uploaded a video patch note that breaks it down, which you can watch below:

It’s kinda neat when a platform you love gets an update that feels like it’s made just for you. But it also makes me ask: how much will this Avatar Marketplace disrupt the community’s vibe? Will people start swapping looks more often? Yikes, the possibilities!

What’s your take on the new marketplace? Have you jumped in yet to snag a fresh avatar? Drop your thoughts in the comments below!
