Valheim fans, rejoice! The much-loved survival game is back in the spotlight with the release of Patch 0.219.14, a hotfix crafted to address some of the most pressing issues players have encountered since The Bog Witch update. If you’ve been struggling with controller input or have experienced other frustrating bugs, this patch might be the relief you’ve been waiting for. You can check out the original announcement here.

What’s in the Patch?

The developers have been hard at work, and it shows. Here’s a breakdown of the critical fixes and improvements that have come with Patch 0.219.14:

  • Controller Input Fixes: One of the most notable updates addresses the controller input issues that left players fumbling in the inventory. Now, small movements should feel seamless again.
  • Build Menu Adjustment: Have you ever had your character unexpectedly sit down when navigating the build menu? Not anymore!
  • Feast Bug Fixed: You can finally say goodbye to the annoying bug that caused consumed feasts to replenish when logging back into a server fully.
  • Server Joinability Restored: Servers are once again joinable through DNS, making it easier to connect with your friends.
  • Food Preparation Table & Mead Kettil Updates: Both items have a broken state and LODs, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.

This patch is a testament to the developers’ commitment to improving the Valheim experience. The community has voiced its concerns, and the response has been swift. If you’ve been putting off diving back into the world of Vikings and mythical beasts, now might be the perfect time to jump back in.

Valheim continues to evolve with every update, and it’s thrilling to see how the developers respond to player feedback. So gather your friends, prepare your mead, and again head out into the wilderness!
