Unrailed 2: Back on Track November 22 Patch Notes, Canyon Boss Changes and More!

Hey there, fellow gamers! It’s always a treat to dive into the latest updates for our favorite titles, and today, we’re exploring the fresh patch for Unrailed 2: Back on Track. With a focus on improving gameplay dynamics, particularly regarding the canyon boss, this update promises to make your train-building adventures smoother. Let’s break down what changes are rolling in this weekend!

The most Major change comes with adjustments to the canyon boss mechanics. Developers have worked hard to make sure that players find encounters that are more balanced. Now, when you place tracks in the worm area during those thrilling rumbles, they will disconnect if there’s enough space ahead of your train. However, should you find yourself short on room, an evasion path will remain open, a necessary tweak that adds layers of strategy without overwhelming new players.

Changelog Highlights

  • Improvement: Canyon boss behavior should feel fairer now.
  • Improvement: Multitool and brute force cartridges work together seamlessly.
  • Improvement: Updated EOS SDK to 1.16.4 fixing potential P2P connection issues.
  • Balance: Brake wagon now reduces train speed by 75% instead of coming to a complete halt.
  • Bug fix: Addressed potential disconnect after approximately an hour of playtime.
  • Bug fix: Bots now correctly Explore through ghosted wagons.
  • Change: Boiler badlands disabled in versus mode temporarily, it will return later!
  • Bug fix: Magnet pick cartridge not scaling properly with stacking cartridges has been resolved.
  • Bug fix:: Potential z-fighting issue fixed in shop interface.

This patch certainly brings a mix of improvements and fixes that many players had been craving. However, while these updates enhance gameplay balance, especially concerning the often frustrating canyon boss, the temporary removal of boiler badlands from versus mode might leave some fans feeling a tad disappointed. It’s crucial for teams to communicate how long this feature will be absent so that players can adjust their strategies accordingly or even revisit older modes until its return.

A couple of bugs have also been squashed, goodbye pesky disconnects after marathon sessions! And let’s not overlook those adorable bots getting more love soon… they’ve become little companions we all enjoy having around as we build our glorious railways across unpredictable landscapes!

If you’re eager to dig deeper into these notes or just want to provide feedback about your experiences with the game so far, head over to the official page. Your input is invaluable, developers are listening and adjusting based on community reactions!

I think this patch holds promise for both newcomers learning the ropes and seasoned veterans looking for refined challenges. Happy building out there! Remember: every misstep is just another opportunity to learn something new along your journey! We love you all!
