In the lively world of InZoi, players can dive into various career paths as part of their daily adventures. Here’s an overview of how to land a job and what to expect from your work experiences in this interesting life simulation game.
How to get a job in InZoi?
The experience of earning a living is central to many life simulations, and InZoi follows suit. Similar to The Sims 4, it offers two jobs: those that send your Zoi offscreen to a “rabbit hole” workplace and those where you actively engage with them during their workday. While most jobs fall into the rabbit hole category, each city has distinct active jobs available for a more hands-on experience.
To embark on your new career journey, click the careers button at the bottom of your Zoi’s phone screen. From there, you’ll see all available options. For instance, within Dowon, players can choose between working at the fire department or joining Adam Entertainment as part of an idol management team—both active roles. Other options consist mainly of rabbit hole jobs symbolized by briefcase icons. Part-time positions exist, too, but come without opportunities for promotion or raises. No qualifications are needed aside from age; applicants must not be too young or old. So when you’re ready to pick your dream job, apply, and you’ll automatically be accepted!
Once you’ve secured employment, ensure you’re putting in some effort if promotions and raises are what you’re after! For rabbit hole-type roles, little engagement is necessary aside from letting your Zoi rest well before work—their performance operates automatically while offscreen.
The real challenge lies with active careers where player involvement is crucial. To climb up the career ladder, complete tasks that appear throughout the day displayed on-screen. Alternatively, allowing Zois autonomy can work, too; they typically remember their assignments well when left alone!
If switching attention away from one Zoi during an active change occurs—let’s say you’re managing another character—they’ll still earn money. Still, they won’t progress toward promotions during that time frame. Their performance remains neutral but won’t improve without direct supervision! Families are more prominent than one may find it easier to opt for non-active roles instead.
If structured work isn’t appealing right now, or you prefer more freedom with income generation, possibilities abound! Similar to The Sims 4 again, activities like painting, music production, and software development exist alongside many freelance gigs—or even engaging in crime! The array of choices keeps things fresh despite its Early Access status.
