Ubisoft describes the Siege Cup as a limited-time in-game tournament mode that mirrors the competitive setup used by professional squads, and it is often treated as the most intense form of play outside of full esports events. The in-game tournament will follow a similar format to past Siege Cups, with squads advancing through brackets to earn rewards. Start times for the Siege Cup on September 21st across all five regions are listed below:
- NA Cup 6:00 PM EDT / UTC-4
- EU + MENA Cup 6:00 PM CEST / UTC+2
- LATAM Cup 7:00 PM BRT / UTC-3
- OCE Cup 4:00 PM AEDT / UTC+10
- APAC Cup 6:00 PM CST / UTC+8
The tournament will use the Siege X updates, using upgraded visuals, more destructible environments, and round-based bans in a competitive setting. Matches will take place on the live game build, including balance changes from the Year 10 Season 3 update. Registration happens through the in-game playlist by following these steps:
- Open Rainbow Six Siege X on console or PC
- Connect the account to Ubisoft
- Go to the main menu and select Play
- Choose the Siege Cup playlist
- Open registration
- Select teammates for the tournament
- Press Register for Siege to complete signup
Ubisoft has published a full list of FAQ’s covering eligibility, rules, and prize distribution.
Teams must register as five-player squads. Each participant needs a clearance level of 50 or higher and a clean reputation record to be eligible. Squads progress through bracket rounds to earn Competitive Coins, with larger rewards available at higher placement tiers. Competitive Coins were introduced in Operation Twin Shell and cannot be bought. They are earned through the Ranked playlist or Siege Cup and are redeemable for Competitive Packs containing unique uniforms, charms, and background cards.
