Ubisoft has Revealed Assassin’s Creed Origins System Requirements, Similar to AC Syndicate

Ubisoft has finally revealed Assassin’s Creed Origins minimum and recommended PC system requirements. Assassin’s Creed Origins will support a wide range of machines, which means lower budget PCs should be eligible to enjoy the game as well. We find this quite important as more people will be able to experience the new Stealth Mechanics Assassin’s Creed offers, and various of other new mechanics included in the game.

Ubisoft Montreal claims that those who own the minimum system requirements type of PC will be eligible to play the game at 720p 30fps. Having all the experience in gaming, we honestly think that this is not even acceptable, playing a video game at 30 fps is nothing else but a pain for the eyes. Especially when you need to make fast reactions in particular moments, 30 frames per second just won’t be acceptable, despite the fact that you’re also being handicapped at 720p.

However, that’s the minimum system requirements and we cannot do anything about it to improve it. In order to enjoy playing the game at a high 1080p and unlimited FPS, gamers will need to at least hold an i7-3770 @ 3.5 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz. Not to forget the minimum 8GB of RAM and a GPU of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD R9 290X with 3GB VRAM and a Shader Model 5.0 or better.

Considering it as a common feature in today’s games, a Benchmark tool will be included as well. Thanks to this, players will be able to determine their current performance easier. Being developed on PC, PS4 and Xbox at the same time, the game will also release for all three platforms at the same date, October 27.

Below, you can find Assassin’s Creed Origins’ Minimum and Recommended  System Requirements:

MINIMUM

  • OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
  • PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5-2400s @ 2.5 GHz or AMD FX-6350 @ 3.9 GHz or equivalent
  • VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD R9 270 (2048 MB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or better)
  • SYSTEM RAM: 6GB
  • Resolution: 720p
  • Video Preset: Lowest

RECOMMENDED

  • OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
  • PROCESSOR: Intel Core i7- 3770 @ 3.5 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz
  • VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD R9 280X (3GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or better)
  • SYSTEM RAM: 8GB
  • Resolution: 1080p
