Hey there, fellow agents! Grab your gear and settle in because we have some exciting updates coming out of the post-apocalyptic wasteland that is Washington D.C. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 has just dropped its Title Update 22.2, and it’s bringing with it a fresh coat of snow, along with some interesting balance changes that might make you raise an eyebrow or two.
The Division Title Update 22.2 Patch Notes
VETERAN REWARDS
- First off, if you’ve been grinding away as a veteran agent, you’re in for a treat. All players eligible for the Veteran Reward will receive a second copy of the LVOA-C in their in-game mailbox.
- Just remember to log in with your highest-level character to snag a version of this sleek weapon that’s scaled appropriately for your current level.
WINTER EVENT
With December rolling around faster than an NPC on holiday cheer, get ready for the annual Winter Event returning to The Division 2!
- The festivities kick off on December 10th and run through December 26th, so mark those calendars.
- No need to worry about DLC ownership, this event is open to all players. All objectives will be located right within our favorite dystopian playground, Washington D.C.
- This year’s event features two project chains: one easy track and one hard track, each boasting six projects begging for completion. Expect time trials where you’ll need to hustle through specific missions if you want that sweet loot at the end.
MODIFIERS
- The Team Leader has now gained ultimate power (cue villain music) over activating or deactivating modifiers for group members.
- The “Requital” modifier has seen some tweaks, its stacks have increased from 10 to a hefty 30, but watch out, the damage per stack is now reduced to only 0.075%, capping at a maximum of just over 2%. That’s what we call taking one step forward and two steps back.[nerf]
- “Master of None” has also received an update, it now applies Disorient at long range instead of Paralysis. So keep your eyes peeled, things are getting spicy!
VANITY
- Your agents can finally strut their stuff without worrying about fashion faux pas! Multiple clipping issues have been fixed with Hyena Redeemed Pants and Virtuoso gear, no more awkward pants popping through shirts!
- The ISAC brick was temporarily MIA from the Low Life Backpack, thankfully, it’s been restored to its rightful place.
OTHER
- A sprinkle of minor UI fixes should enhance gameplay experience as well.
This latest update showcases how Ubisoft strives to keep The Division community engaged while addressing concerns that pop up like rogue enemies during a mission. While some may see nerfs as frustrating roadblocks, they often lead us toward fresh strategies, and hey, who doesn’t love decking their agents out with new winter gear? It’s almost time to deck those proverbial halls before diving back into another chaotic extraction run.
